went to look at my old photoblog recently, and above are some of the favourite pictures among those that i’ve taken with my compact camera!
you know. i’ve wanted a dslr since sec2, well thats when my interest in photography began. so i looked at rental rates for dslr, for my 10 days hongkong trip at the end of the year. add up to more than $150..
so i went to look at second hand dslr bodies and lens, looking for olympus e510. without warranty is $350 for body+kitlens, and with warranty is $700~ and yep i have enough money for a without-warranty one!
but, my dad dont trust second hand goods. or rather superstitious or something. what are the chances that the previous user had died?!!? ._.
so i asked for a first-hand one. any. even if its the cheapest or the lousiest dslr on earth. like almost all dslr are better than normal compact cameras in terms of quality and customization ._. saw one on sale, limited to 40 sets, at $695. mum agreed to sponsor me $500!
BUT. my dad said its too expensive. ._. mum already agreed why cant you just let me buy. you rather force me to go piano lessons for the past dunno how many years since i’ve lost interest in piano, than to buy for me a dslr? ):
oh anyway, daddy if you haven’t remember, you said you’ll give me $50 for every A in JC. *counts* i had 5 so far in total, so can i claim my $250 please? ._.
bro brought our not-that-bad camera with him to US, which means we are left with some laoya camera borrowed from someone, and that camera is so super blur. i hope they regret not buying a better camera when they view those low quality holiday pictures next year. ._.
