its funny how i wasnt incharge of it but end up getting scolded.
lets name this particular person Mr F.
first, V sent a message at around 2pm to ask if anyone’s free to go for a public speaking talk since squash’s supposed to send in two people for it. i was the first two to reply. i said i didnt want to and my parents didnt allow as well. but nevertheless since she’s supposed to send in the name to Mr F by 3pm, she just sent my name.
then i had to send a message to Mr F myself to tell him i couldn’t go. and therefore, tasked to find a replacement. its absurd because why should i spend extra time finding a replacement when i shouldn’t be the one going..
but i still went to find a replacement. for two hours which i could have used to do better things like doing hydroxy compound tutorial. and duh, no one wants to go/busy. so i told him no one is able to go cause of other commitments, so he asked me to find a guy. and eh, i dont have any guys’ contacts. plus i dont think any guys will listen to a girl right? -.- they sure blame why theres no girls free to go. but fyi theres like 8 girls, and like double the number for guys..
“Could you please get things done. Contact J if you need to. I am having my wedding tea ceremony now. Give me the solutions, not the problems. Leaders should show some initiative please.”
trust me i felt like slapping him or crash the wedding ceremony. z. its not like i didnt try to find a person. it wasnt supposed to be me finding a person to go in the first place, so how is it supposed to be me to “get things done”? i could very easily just anyhow send a person’s name in and sabo the next person in place. ha-ha to think i believed the mr ng at the cca leaders’ talk that the teachers will work tgth with the leaders and help them. this kind of saikang things, will anyone want to go if a student ask them to? ._. i wouldn’t have done a single thing man. thank god Mr F is leaving the school next year. Mr F, did you not realise that no one said “aww” when you told us you’re gonna leave? what have you done for squash? the tsunami squash courts? the demanding squash file? and the squash tshirts coach said you’re gonna make for us, but it has been 5 months and you havent even give him any details about the information? talk about efficiency man. “leaders should show some initiative please.”
argh, as im typing this you can see smoke above my head. no its not haze.
when i came online, mr chun (sec4 form teacher whom i’ve msned with since sec1 very frequently) talked to me and asked me about some badminton training advice he needed in. immediately i replied “busy”. i really had enough about planning loadshits of trainings. then he asked why and what happened, told him about it, and he said: “dont let him spoil your weekend! be happy :D” seldom see him giving a “:D” he kinda made me feel better, at least i know there are better teachers than Mr F around.
am thinking of quitting as a vice captain because im kinda tired of all the planning of stuffs and the demanding Mr F, whatever i do, he has things to criticise about. plus its always hard to get the team to do something tgth.. but its a pity, because its only a matter of months before Mr F leaves the school + we step down..
moral of the story? dont reply people early. and dont be stupid and be a leader.
